The plant is an upright shrub, reaching a height of 30–50 cm and a width of about 25 cm three years after planting. The foliage has a dark green hue, and young shoots are medium green.
The variety belongs to the bud-blooming category: the 4 by 1.5 mm flowers do not open fully, which allows for longer-lasting decorative quality. The flowering period occurs in September–October.
The plant has high disease resistance and tolerance to hot summer periods. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 5–6. The variety is intended for use in rock gardens, borders, and heather compositions.
