Variety description

The shrub reaches a height of 35 to 60 cm. It has dark green foliage and a globose bush shape. The flowers of a dark ruby or carmine-red shade form narrow raceme-like inflorescences.

Flowering of the plant begins in September. The variety is intended for landscape design, including the creation of heather gardens, rock gardens, and borders. The plant prefers acidic, well-drained, sandy or peaty soils and a sunny location.
