The bush has an upright form and reaches a height of 10–20 cm. The plant's foliage consists of dark green needle-like elements. Small flowers with a diameter of 1 to 10 mm are colored in pink-lilac tones. The flowering period occurs in September, October, and sometimes November.
The variety possesses winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zones 5–6. Sunny areas with acidic, well-drained soils, such as sand or peat, with a pH level of 4.5–6.5 are preferred for cultivation. The plant is used in gardening for the arrangement of flower beds, borders, and containers.
