The Akron F1 hybrid is a Lamuyo-type sweet pepper, characterized by good vigor and high foliage density of the plant. The variety is intended for cultivation in open field conditions.
The fruits are distinguished by fleshiness and thick walls. Upon ripening, they change color from green to deep red, reaching sizes of 9–10 cm in diameter and 14–16 cm in length. The plant possesses resistance to tobacco mosaic virus.
