Variety description

The plant has a compact rounded or mound-like shape, reaching a height and diameter of 60–90 cm. A key feature of the variety is the shiny aromatic golden-yellow leaves, which contrast with the deep purple-blue inflorescences appearing on the current year's shoots.

The variety is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 5–9. In cold regions, the above-ground part may die back, but it recovers quickly in the spring. The plant prefers sunny locations with good drainage and exhibits drought tolerance once established, as well as resistance to damage by deer and rabbits.

To maintain the compactness of the bush and ensure abundant flowering, it is recommended to perform heavy pruning in early spring, immediately after the start of active shoot growth.
