Variety description

The variety is a mutation of the cultivar Heavenly Blue. The plant is an upright or bushy deciduous shrub with a height of 60 to 120 cm and a crown width of up to 1.5 m. The leaves have an aroma when rubbed.

Flowering occurs from July-August to September-October. The plant belongs to USDA hardiness zones 5–9, withstanding temperatures down to -23...-28 °C, although in cold regions the above-ground part may die back with subsequent recovery from the roots.

Cultivation requires sunny, wind-protected sites with well-drained soil. The shrub is practically resistant to diseases and pests, requiring heavy annual pruning in early spring.
