Variety description

The miniature shrub reaches a height and width of 60–90 cm, possesses a dense rounded shape and thick branching. The leaves are ovate, with a serrated edge, and have a fragrance. Abundant flowering occurs from September to October, when the flowers acquire a saturated blue or blue-violet hue.

The plant is drought-tolerant after establishment, but tolerates waterlogging poorly and requires well-drained soils. The variety exhibits resistance to pests, deer, and rabbits, maintaining winter hardiness in zones 5–9. Spring pruning is recommended to maintain decorative qualities and stimulate shoot growth.

The variety is widely used in landscape design for creating borders, group plantings, and container cultivation. The plant is a honey plant, attracting butterflies and bees.
