Variety description

The plant forms a rounded crown of glossy dark green oval leaves with serrated edges, which may turn yellow in autumn. Flowers of a lilac-blue or purple-blue shade are gathered in large inflorescences. The variety is fast-growing.
Flowering occurs in the period from August to October. The plant has winter hardiness down to -20 °C (USDA zone 6b) and is considered deer-resistant. It is a honey plant, attracting bees and butterflies, and is suitable for borders, group plantings, rock gardens, and container cultivation.
It requires sunny areas and well-drained soils for development. At the end of winter, it is recommended to perform short pruning to maintain shape and stimulate growth.
