Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub with a height and width of 60 to 100 cm. It has matte dark green lanceolate leaves 5–8 cm long, which emit a characteristic aroma when rubbed. The flowers of a lilac-blue or deep blue shade are gathered in panicle inflorescences.

The variety prefers sunny locations, protected from the wind, with permeable soil. The plant tolerates urban conditions well and requires annual spring pruning to maintain its shape. Winter hardiness reaches -20°C; in certain conditions, winter covering may be required. Used in solitary plantings, in flower beds, and in container cultivation.
