The Elipse variety belongs to the Kabuli type and has beige-colored seeds. The plant is characterized by an early start of flowering, requiring the accumulation of about 650 ºC of active temperatures, which allows for efficient moisture consumption and avoiding stress conditions at the end of the growing season.

The plant possesses high adaptation to temperature fluctuations and uneven distribution of precipitation. The variety demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases, including Ascochyta blight and Fusarium wilt, and is also distinguished by a consistently high protein content in the grain after thermal processing.
