The variety is intended for the production of chicory chicons during the forcing process. After growing the root crops, they are used for winter forcing in the absence of light, which allows for obtaining tender vegetable produce without bitterness.

The variety is classified as intended for soil forcing. The quality of the produce depends directly on adherence to the temperature regime and complete isolation from light during the growth of the chicons.
