Puna II

Grasslanz Technology

The variety type is characterized by a spindle-shaped root with a length of about 20–25 cm. The plant forms a leaf rosette, which can be consumed as food, and a taproot, which is the primary object of processing.
Cultivation is carried out using the row method with row spacing of 20–30 cm at a planting density of 30–50 plants per 1 m². Early sowing is not recommended due to the risk of flower stalk formation, which degrades the quality of the root crops.
