The variety forms long conical cylindrical roots with white tender flesh, possessing a specific slightly bitter taste. The plant is distinguished by high frost resistance and ease of cultivation.
Seed sowing is carried out in the spring from March to May or at the end of summer from August to September. When using the roots to prepare a beverage similar to coffee, the harvest is obtained in the second year after sowing.
