The variety forms a voluminous, dense, elongated head. The leaves have a light green, almost white color, and possess a tender, crunchy texture and mild taste. In the Lombard dialect, it is known as Sciroeu and is often identified with the Bianca di Milano variety.
The plant belongs to the very early category; harvesting is carried out in late summer and autumn. The crop does not require mandatory transplanting; sowing directly into the ground is recommended. In early October, the leaves are cut at the base to stimulate the formation of a dense rosette.
