HILDA SONIA DEL RIO/ELIEZER LOUZADA
10 August 2026
The variety originated as a bud mutation and is characterized by medium-sized fruits. The peel has a yellow color with a characteristic reddish blush that appears where fruits come into contact. The pulp is fine-grained, very juicy, and intensely colored red or pink.
The taste of the fruits is sweet, sweet and sour, with less pronounced bitterness than in white varieties. The plant is an evergreen tree 2 to 6 meters tall. The variety is sensitive to low temperatures and requires a hot climate to achieve optimal pigmentation and taste qualities.
