ActiveCitrus reticulata Blanco · Mandarin orange
Timothy Williams
10 August 2026
The tree features an upright spreading habit and is thornless, reaching a height of 1.5–2 meters when grown in containers. The foliage is dense and dark green. The variety possesses moderate cold hardiness and resistance to scab.
Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 150–180 g, with an oblate shape and a bright orange or red-orange thin, smooth rind. The flesh is characterized by a rich sweet-and-sour taste. The number of seeds depends directly on the presence of cross-pollination with other citrus species.
Classified as an early variety, ripening in mid-November, with the ability to keep fruits on the tree until the end of December. It is recommended to use pruning shears during harvest to prevent rind damage. Fruits are intended for fresh consumption; the plant is also used for ornamental purposes.
