The variety is a hybrid obtained as a result of open pollination of the Miho Wase variety. The fruits are distinguished by their mandarin flavor and dense structure of the flesh and peel, which makes them resistant to the puffing typical of other satsuma varieties during the same ripening period. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation for the fresh market.

The plant is a diploid hybrid compatible with Carrizo citrange, Troyer citrange, and C35 rootstocks. The flowers are hermaphroditic, and the petals have a yellow-white color with small yellow speckles. The variety is characterized by early maturity, occurring in April under South African conditions.
