Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of the Kiyomi tangor and the Ponkan mandarin. The tree is medium-sized, evergreen, with a spherical crown reaching a height of 3.5 meters. Young branches may have thorns; leaves are lanceolate, leathery, with a narrow wing on the petiole.

Fruits are large, weighing 270–350 g, and have a rough, bumpy, orange-colored rind. A characteristic feature is the presence of a neck or node at the stalk. The variety is seedless; the harvest ripens from January to March. The plant is capable of withstanding temperatures down to -8°C; cultivation requires moisture control to prevent fruit cracking.
