The variety is the result of a gamma-ray induced bud mutation of the Nadorcott variety. The tree has a compact crown, which allows for use in high-density orchards. The plant possesses pronounced male and female sterility and a low percentage of viable pollen, which ensures the seedlessness of the fruits even under heavy cross-pollination.

The fruits have an obloid shape, a diameter of about 65 mm, and smooth peel. The flesh is soft and juicy, with an orange-reddish hue; juice content exceeds 50%. The total soluble solids content ranges from 10% to 13%, and titratable acidity varies from 0.75% to 1.3%.
