The tree is vigorous, spreading, medium to large in size, with thin, thorny shoots and moderately dense evergreen or semi-evergreen foliage. Leaves are predominantly trifoliate, less often simple. Fruits are small, oblate-spherical, orange in color, with a tightly adhering rind of medium thickness and juicy, but highly acidic and bitter flesh. The variety is characterized by high seed polyembryony and early ripening.
The plant possesses resistance to citrus tristeza virus, Phytophthora root rot, and citrus nematodes. The variety exhibits moderate winter hardiness. At the same time, it is sensitive to heavy clay soils, does not tolerate salinization or high pH, on which it often demonstrates micronutrient deficiency.
