The hybrid is a tree 3–5 meters in height with a dense canopy, thorny branches, and trifoliate leaves. The fruits are yellow, pear-shaped or round, about 6-7 cm in diameter, contain many seeds, and have a distinct sour, tart taste, for which reason they are rarely consumed.

The plant exhibits vigorous growth and high compatibility with most commercial citrus varieties. It is resistant to citrus tristeza virus, Phytophthora, citrus nematodes, and citrus blight, but is sensitive to exocortis. It possesses frost resistance down to -10…-12 °C, moderate drought tolerance, and salt tolerance.
