Variety description

The tree features vigorous vertical growth with an oval-shaped canopy and has large, dark-green glossy leaves. Thorns are present on the main branches, the number of which decreases with age. The variety shows resistance to the fungus Alternaria alternata and to the citrus tristeza virus.

The slightly flattened fruits have an average weight of 140–150 g and a diameter of 65–70 mm. The pulp has a delicate texture, and the content of soluble solids reaches 18° Brix. The fruits ripen in the first half of March and can remain on the tree until the end of April.

The variety is a triploid, which ensures complete seedlessness even under cross-pollination. The tree is highly compatible with the Citrange Carrizo rootstock and begins to bear fruit several years after grafting. One of the characteristics of the variety is potential issues with peel quality.
