The variety is late-maturing. The fruits have an average weight of 137 g and a diameter of about 68 mm. The orange-yellow rind, about 2.9 mm thick, peels relatively easily. The dark orange flesh contains about 45% juice and a small number of seeds.
The taste characteristics of the fruits are typical of the Ellendale variety. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation as a table mandarin and is propagated by grafting onto rootstocks, for example, Troyer citrange. When using Cleopatra mandarin rootstock, the fruits are prone to granulation of the flesh.
