The plant is a compact vine 1.5–2 meters in height. The flowers are large, 10–15 cm in diameter, have a star-shaped form and dense, waxy petals.

The variety belongs to the hard pruning group, in which shoots are shortened for the winter to 5–15 cm from the soil level. The plant is resistant to diseases, undemanding to soil type, and suitable for cultivation in open field or containers.
