Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing Clematis florida and Clematis integrifolia. The plant reaches a height of 2.5–3 meters. Flowering is prolonged, covering the period from June to September. The flowers are flat, 5–6 cm in diameter, consisting of 6 sepals facing upward.

Young shoots and foliage may have a burgundy-red hue. The variety is suitable for vertical gardening, use in compositions with shrubs, and cultivation in containers. The plant requires protected sunny locations and winter covering, as it belongs to a group with limited winter hardiness.
