Variety description

The variety is the result of a natural mutation of the clematis Comtesse de Bouchaud. The plant height ranges from 2 to 4 meters. The flowers are large, 10–12 cm in diameter, and have contrasting yellow anthers in the center.

Flowering occurs from early or mid-summer to early autumn. The variety belongs to pruning group 3: shoots must be shortened to 2–4 lower nodes in late winter or early spring. The plant possesses frost resistance (USDA zone 4) and disease resistance.

It is used in vertical landscaping for decorating arches, pergolas, walls, and fences, and is also suitable for container cultivation.
