Variety description

The variety is a selection from the species Clematis patens. The plant is a deciduous vine, the height of which reaches 3 meters. The foliage consists of ternate, entire, glossy leaves of a medium-green color.

Hermaphroditic flowers with a diameter of 11–14 cm have 7–9 sepals. Upon opening, they have a yellowish-white hue, gradually becoming pure white; the filaments and anthers are also cream-white in color. Flowering occurs in May–June on the previous year's shoots.

The fruits are seed heads of a bronze hue that remain on the plant.
