The variety is also known under the names Amazing London and East River. The plant is a bush-like upright clematis 1.5–2 meters tall, whose shoots do not actively cling to supports but can spread along the ground or lean against them.

Flowers 8–10 cm in diameter have a lilac-pink shade and wavy, twisted long petals. Their shape varies from flat to broadly bell-shaped. Flowering is abundant and continuous from June to September on current-year shoots; the variety belongs to pruning group 3.

The plant grows equally well in sun and partial shade. It is suitable for planting in groups with perennials or low-growing shrubs, as well as for container cultivation. When used for cut flowers, the blooms retain their decorative appearance for up to 10 days.
