The Vercor 5 variety, known under the trade name Minigoldenpampas, is a dwarf form of pampas grass. The evergreen plant forms narrow linear leaves with yellow-variegated coloring. The total height of the bush including erect golden inflorescences is about 100 cm, with the leaf mass occupying about 60 cm.

The flowering period falls between August and October. The plant possesses relative winter hardiness and is capable of withstanding temperature drops down to -20°C provided it is grown in well-drained soils; however, covering is required in severe winters. The variety is intended for ornamental use in landscape design and is suitable for container growing and cutting for dried bouquets.
