The variety is an evergreen bushy plant with narrow dark green linear leaves. Flowering begins at a young age; inflorescences have the appearance of large silky panicles located on upright stems.

The plant is adapted for cultivation in containers, on terraces, and in small gardens. It prefers sunny areas with well-drained soils, possesses winter hardiness within USDA zones 7–10, and requires pruning of old foliage in the spring.
