The cultivar is intended primarily for pollinating other hazelnut cultivars in commercial orchards, providing the process during late periods. The tree has a compact shape and reaches a height of 2.4 to 4.5 meters.
The plant possesses immunity to eastern filbert blight caused by the fungus Anisogramma anomala. The cultivar is adapted to overwintering at temperatures down to -31°C, and its flowers are capable of withstanding frosts down to -26°C. It prefers well-drained soils.
