Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a shrub 3–4 meters in height. The nuts ripen in late September — early October. The nuts are semi-spherical in shape and brown in color, and are easily crackable. The kernel accounts for 56% of the nut weight and has a sweet, crunchy, and oily taste.

The plant is characterized by full winter hardiness and begins to fruit in the 4th–5th year. The variety is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination with other hazelnut varieties to increase yield. Periodicity of fruiting may also occur.
