Variety description

A deciduous shrub with strong vigor, reaching 3–6 meters in height. The crown is spreading, rounded, and of medium density. The fruits are large, weighing up to 4–4.2 g, spherical or slightly flattened in shape, and gathered in clusters of 3–5. The shell is of medium thickness, about 1.3 mm, with a brown or bronze tint.

A medium-maturity variety; the harvest is usually ready in the second half of September, with the nuts often falling out of the husk on their own. It enters the fruiting stage in the 3–4th year. The kernel is sweet, with a pronounced nutty flavor and a high kernel-to-shell ratio.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness and drought tolerance. The variety is moderately resistant to Monilia disease but is susceptible to the nut weevil and the bud mite. To obtain a consistently high yield, it requires the presence of pollinator varieties such as Barcelona or Halle.
