Variety description

The variety is a vigorous bush up to 4.5 meters high. The leaves, husks, and fruits have a bright crimson color, which takes on a dark burgundy shade by the end of the season. In a cluster, usually 7 to 8, rarely up to 15, nuts are formed.

The fruits have a mass of 3.0–3.5 g with dimensions of about 28×18×16 mm. The shell is of medium thickness and smooth. The kernel output is more than 52%, the fat content in the kernel is about 63%.

The variety belongs to the mid-season group; ripening in the conditions of the Moscow region occurs in the first ten days of October. The yield is 3–4 kg per bush. The plant has high winter hardiness (down to -40 °C) and resistance to the nut weevil, bud mite, and longhorn beetle.
