The variety is late-maturing and belongs to the traditional type of melons intended for long-term storage. The basis for the creation of the variety was a line selected in the 1970s by breeders of the National Agronomic Station.
The fruits are characterized by high keeping quality, retaining consumer properties for more than 3 months after harvest. The plant possesses selectively bred resistance to powdery mildew, and the morphological characteristics of the fruits meet the standardized requirements of the Tendral type.
