Fruits are large, oval or short-elliptical in shape, with a weight of 2–3 kg. The rind is thick, dark green or nearly black, with pronounced ribbing and wrinkling. The flesh is firm, light green or white, characterized by a high sugar content.
The variety belongs to the winter melon group and is adapted for long-term storage for several months. Recommended for cultivation in greenhouses or very warm protected locations. Classification of the variety can be difficult due to the possible presence of specimens with atypical traits in collections.
