The plant is a deciduous tree or large shrub 3 to 8 meters in height with a spreading crown. The fruits are medium to large in size, weighing 200–250 g (sometimes up to 300 g), and their shape varies from apple-like to pear-like. The surface of the fruits is covered with down, and the color at maturity is golden-yellow. The flesh is juicy, light in color, and has a sweet and sour taste.
The variety is early-bearing, with fruiting beginning in the 2nd–4th year after planting. Harvesting is carried out from late September to mid-October. The plant has good winter hardiness and drought tolerance and blooms late, which reduces the risk of frost damage. It is partially self-fertile; the best pollinators are considered to be the varieties Bereczki, Angersi, and Mezőtúri.
