The variety is genetic material for breeding new varieties of the crop. Fruits of the variety demonstrate high storage performance in cold storage facilities, being distinguished by minimal mass loss and low probability of spoilage compared to other varieties.
The plant is susceptible to fire blight, which is characteristic of most quince varieties. Biological studies of the variety's pollen show some of the lowest rates of its germination under laboratory conditions.
