The tree reaches a height of 3.5–4 meters and is characterized by medium growth intensity. The crown is rounded and prone to thickening; branches can sag under the weight of the crop. The variety is considered one of the most winter-hardy quince varieties, while it possesses medium drought tolerance and relative sensitivity to pests.

The fruits are large, weighing from 200 to 700 g, with smooth light-yellow skin. The flesh is firm, juicy, and light-yellow, with a pleasant aroma and a sour taste; it does not change color during heat treatment. The ripening period is medium, and harvesting takes place in October.

The variety is considered self-fertile with elements of partial self-fertility; for higher yields, cross-pollination with the variety «Враньская» is recommended. The fruits are mainly used for processing into jams, marmalades, and liqueurs, and the tree itself is valued for its decorative white-pink blossom.
