The variety is a low spreading shrub 25 to 55 cm in height and up to 60 cm in width. The dark green foliage may acquire a copper hue in autumn. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and disease resistance.
Flowering occurs from December to April-May. Large carmine-pink flowers are gathered into wide spikes. The variety is suitable for cultivation in containers, group plantings, and for decorating flower beds. The crop prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with well-drained soil and is resistant to various types of substrate acidity.
The frost resistance of the plant is limited to temperatures down to -15°C, which requires covering when grown in the conditions of the middle zone.
