The plant has an upright habit and differs from the «Kramer’s Rote» variety by a more pronounced vertical shape and an intense hue. 5 years after planting without pruning, the bush reaches a height of up to 45 cm with a width of about 35 cm.
The flowers have a lilac or heliotrope hue with a dark lilac calyx and are gathered in spike-like inflorescences up to 8 cm long. The urceolate corolla reaches 7 mm in length and 5 mm in width; the anthers are dark red, fully exerted. The foliage is linear, up to 9 mm long, dark green above and pale green below.
The variety blooms in the period from February to April. The plant is used in ornamental gardening.
