The variety is a tetraploid evergreen shrub with a dense crown habit. The height of a mature plant is about 50 cm with a similar width. The foliage is medium green, while young shoots have a brighter hue.
The flowers are large, tubular, with a heliotrope corolla and a pale pink calyx. A characteristic feature is the contrasting black anthers. The flowering period covers winter and spring months.
The plant is a honey plant, suitable for group plantings and container cultivation. It prefers open sunny areas and well-drained acidic soils. Requires standard care, including pruning after flowering ends.
