The bush is distinguished by an upright, dense form and dense foliage. The height of an adult plant varies from 0.5 to 2 meters. The leaves have an oval shape and are characterized by stable variegated coloration: a dark green center combined with a creamy-white edge and light tips that persist in partial shade.
Flowering occurs in May–June with greenish-white flowers. The variety is heat-loving, corresponds to hardiness zone 7–8, and requires covering when grown in cold climates. The plant tolerates formative pruning well, has moderate resistance to diseases, and is not prone to lodging. All parts of the shrub are poisonous.
