Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 0.5–0.8 m with a width of 0.5–0.7 m. The variety was obtained as a natural bud mutation of the variety «Francien». The foliage has a pale greenish or white color upon emergence, creating a two-tone effect in the spring period.
The variety is winter hardy (USDA zone 6), however, young spring shoots are sensitive to severe frosts. The plant is resistant to salt spray and tolerates a wide range of soils provided there is quality drainage. Used in landscape design for hedges, borders, and container gardening.
