The Flame variety belongs to the group of turf grasses and is intended for the creation of cover on household plots, parks, and sports facilities. A specific feature of the breeding is the presence of a rhizomatous growth type, in which the plant forms rhizomes for horizontal spread and self-repair.

The plant is distinguished by high turf density, dark color, and fine leaf texture. The variety is characterized by drought tolerance, rapid rooting, and the ability to recover after wear. The recommended mowing height is from 2.5 to 7.5 cm.
