Variety description

10 August 2026

Inferno belongs to turf varieties with a semi-dwarf habit. The plant has a fine leaf texture and high turf density, maintaining an attractive dark green color. The variety is characterized by vigorous seed germination and rapid establishment.

The plant possesses drought and heat tolerance, developing successfully in sun and partial shade. High resistance to Rhizoctonia and the presence of endophytes contribute to viability and pest resistance. The variety is suitable for sports fields, park areas, and home lawns, and is often used in grass seed mixtures.
