The plant belongs to early-mid or mid-season forms. During the flowering phase, the height reaches 100–120 cm, individual specimens may exceed 150 cm. Morphologically, the variety is characterized as a festucoid type, externally similar to fescue, with wide and long leaves and a semi-erect bush.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and the ability to withstand excessive moisture. Compared to pure tall fescue, Hykor is distinguished by a higher content of sugars and energy. The primary purpose is for the establishment of hayfields and pastures; it is also used in grass mixtures.
