Variety description

The variety has an erect or semi-erect growth habit with short underground shoots. Stems are thick but tender; leaves have an average length of 25–30 cm with pubescent auricles. The panicle is drooping, reaching 15–20 cm or more in length.

The variety is distinguished by high reliability and resistance to winterkill. Intended for semi-intensive and extensive pastures and hayfields. Requires good nutrient availability and use on medium-heavy or heavy soils free of couch grass.

Sowing is recommended in early spring as an undersown crop or until the end of July as a pure stand with row spacing of 25–40 cm. Historically, the variety was used as a control sample when evaluating the yield of forage grasses.
