Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety Labarinth was created by crossing European rhizomatous forms of tall fescue with American turf varieties. Its key feature is the ability to form underground shoots (rhizomes), which allow the plant to spread underground, fill in bare spots, and maintain turf density.

The plant possesses a well-developed root system reaching a depth of up to 1.5 meters, which provides high resistance to heat and drought. The variety shows tolerance to salinity and shading, and is also distinguished by increased wear resistance and a softer leaf texture compared to traditional varieties of the species.

Labarinth is intended for professional landscape design, creating sports turf, and urban greening. The intensity of rhizomatous activity may vary depending on climatic conditions and site characteristics.
