The variety belongs to perennial grasses and is characterized by a strong root system, as well as long, wide, and coarse leaves. Due to its biological characteristics, the plant is drought-resistant and can develop in saline soils.

The variety is used in agriculture as a forage crop for establishing hayfields and pastures, and is also used in grass mixtures for landscaping purposes.
